11th Annual ~ Whittier Area Prayer Summit

Dr. Ralph Pacheco, (FCCI Ministries, Inc. & LC Foundation), and many other Whittier Area Ministers, (Members of the Whittier Area Evangelical Ministerial Alliance/WAEMA), are hosting the 11th Annual Whittier Area Prayer Summit on Saturday, Feb. 7, 2009. All who desire to attend are welcome to come and join in the prayer (There is no cover charge - The event is FREE, refreshments are served throughout the day).

Rev. Dwight Sullivan, Pastor of the Whittier Evangelical Methodist Church, chairs the event each year. "I think this will be the greatest Prayer Summit we have had yet!" Exclaims Pastor Sullivan, "The level of expectation has never been higher!"

Rev. Dwight Sullivan hosted the Annual Prayer Summit Planning Committee meeting this morning at breakfast (Marie Callendars across from PIH). The 15 ministers in attendance expressed their excitement about gathering this year.

The Prayer Summit is hosted at the Salvation Army Facility on Pickering Ave. in Whittier (located just above Whittier Blvd.) The Prayer Summit will be held on Saturday, Feb. 7, 2009 starting at 7:00 A.M. and continuing throughtout the day.

"LC Foundation"

a.k.a.

"Leadership Capacity Foundation"

The LC Foundation is a non-profit (501c3) "faith based organization" dedicated to serving the Faith Community in raising up the next generation of Church & Ministry Leaders in America. It also serves leaders in public education, community development, government relations and public affairs.

The LC Foundation is helping to "Build Leadership Capacity" among aspiring church leaders and laity. The LC Foundation's work also includes providing technical assistance and program management in the area of community and economic development; grant writing; and providing coaching and mentoring in professional development in the field of business, industry, education, and Christian ministry.

"I have spent the past 15 years helping to raise up the next generation of leaders in ministry, and over 25 years working in public education, public sector projects and professional development." Says, Dr. Pacheco.

"The work of the LC Foundation is the culmination of everything I have worked for over these many years... Combining my experience in Professional Development,(Coaching/Mentoring), Public Policy, Public Office, Program Management, Government Relations, Public Affairs, Ministry, and Community Development."
