COMING SOON: VIP RECEPTION FOR STATE SENATOR GLORIA ROMERO, Senate Education Committee Chair

Dr. Ralph Pacheco, President of the Whittier Area School Trustees Association (WASTA), is pleased to announce the scheduling of a "VIP Reception Honoring State Senator Gloria Romero" Senator Romero is the CA Senate Education Committee Chair.

WASTA membership includes the 9 districts of; East Whittier School District, Little Lake School District, Los Nietos School District, El Rancho Unified School District, South Whittier School District, Rio Hondo Community College District, Whittier City School District, Whittier Union High School District, and Lowell Joint School District. There are, "45 Elected School Board Members in WASTA."

CONGRESSIONAL VISIT to SOUTH WHITTIER SCHOOL DISTRICT

Linda Sanchez wanted to personally visit the school to "Thank" the children for their generosity and support of our U.S. Troops overseas. (The Adopt-A-Soldier program was the result of a proposal submitted by SWSD Trustee Deborah Pacheco.)

The Rev. Dr. Pacheco & Mrs. Pacheco have been in Ministry together for over 20 years. They have been church planters, pastors, and used in the healing & deliverance ministry. They have conducted workshops and seminars on a variety of family issues; Parent/Teen Relationships, Marriage Encounters, and Family Guidance Counseling. They presently are the Ministry Leaders of FCCI Ministries, Inc. (Founded in 2002). Dr. Pacheco's focus has been in providing Urban Ministry Church Development & Leadership Training to a host of Spirit-Filled Ministries.
